Invisible Universe is the new coreography by performer-creator Luciana Hoppe, directed by Paulo Marcello and original music and projections created by musician and video artist Haroldo Paraguassú. It is a dance coreography, freely inspired by the work of Valter Hugo Mãe, Homens Imprudentemente Poéticos, hasn’t been translated into English yet, but the title means something like ‘Reckelessly Poetic Man’, which deals with the human soul in a sensitive and intense way. Combining dance and performance with original music, multimedia projection, literature and ecology, the coreography summons our gaze inwards, to what is obscure, invisible, and to our relationship with the universe. A fall through ourselves and the monsters that inhabit our inner universe. Nature is the living habitat through which human action takes place while moving away from it, represented by the civilizing desert in which we live.
