Anna-Christina Kattou (Nicosia, Cyprus): Songs and poetry for the senses

  • watch: 29th September 2019 at 3pm UTC
  • duration: 20min

The performance I will present related with my participation in this online festival is entitled ‘Songs and poetry for the senses’. It will be around 30 minutes long. It will be consisted from 4 songs I have recorded in a studio in Central London and two poems taken from my first published poetry collection. The songs are entitled: ‘Sunshine’ , ‘Scars and Wishes’ , ‘Wide Eyes’ and ‘Dancing for you’. The two poems I will interpret live are named ‘ Grief and Love’ and ‘The Forest and the Secret’. All of the songs and the poems have as an aim to awaken the human senses and provoke feelings to the listeners in order to learn something new, make them think and entertain as well. Looking forward to share it with everyone.
