Victoria Choppington Fountain (Newcastle, AU): Pharmacopornographic

Vikki reads selected texts from Paul B Preciado’s “Testo Junkie: Sex, Drugs and Politics in the Pharmacopornographic Era”. In the video, living through the writings by imagining herself as their authors, she channels them through masquerade. She is quite at home in the awkward space between the body’s own boundaries, and of gendered social demands.

BIO: Victoria Choppington Fountain is an artist currently living in Newcastle, Australia. She occasionally uses the body of a male writer friend to carry out her performances.
