Born in Uruguay 1965, lives and works in Argentina. Artist who explores the limits of performance with sculpture, installation and video. Editor of her book. Her current project Lockdown Performances 2020 where 82 artists participate showing their reactions to the world quarantine, from Argentina, Brazil, United States, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, UK, and Uruguay. Since 1993 he has been performing on the Day of the Dead, where he invites many artists to participate in his proposals in a performative way. Ariadna Pastorini\’s work inserts us in her process of experimentation on the concepts of three-dimensionality, form, volume and their relationship with the space they occupy within themselves and their environment. \”My work is totally performatics, from its construction to its setting. Intuition, suggestion, time and space, their relationship with reality are elements I use. I focus on the body, absent or present, because it is the most ephemeral piece.\”
